What we do
Services
Practical accessibility work for teams that need to find real issues and fix them — not a compliance badge that papers over the problem.
Accessibility audit
A full WCAG 2.2 AA evaluation of websites and native mobile apps, pairing automated coverage with hands-on screen reader and keyboard testing on real devices, delivered as a prioritized issue log with clear, actionable fixes.
Assistive-technology user testing
Task-based testing with the tools real users rely on — NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, keyboard, and voice — on physical desktop and mobile devices, including native iOS and Android apps, with a recorded session and findings summary.
VPAT / ACR creation
A conformance evaluation and completed Accessibility Conformance Report your sales and procurement teams can hand to customers with confidence.
Document remediation
PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files brought to WCAG AA — correct tags, reading order, alt text, and structure for screen reader users.
Remediation support
Ongoing advisory for your team — code-level fix guidance, design reviews, and Q&A — booked in flexible blocks of hours.
Verification re-test
After your team applies fixes, we re-test to confirm issues are resolved and update the report — closing the loop on the original audit. Included with your audit at no extra charge.
Every engagement is scoped to what you need, so pricing is quoted per project. Tell us about your project and we'll send a tailored quote and rate sheet.
Standards & regulations
The standards behind the work
We test to WCAG 2.2 Level AA — the technical benchmark the major US accessibility laws point to. Conforming to it is how organisations address those obligations in practice.
WCAG 2.2 AA
The technical standard for digital accessibility, and the foundation the work is measured against — across web, mobile, and document content.
ADA
Courts and the Department of Justice look to WCAG as the measure of an accessible site. Conforming to WCAG 2.2 AA supports your obligations under the ADA.
Section 508
Federal agencies and their vendors document accessibility through a VPAT built on WCAG. We produce VPAT/ACR reports for web, mobile, and documents.
Conforma Access assesses conformance to WCAG 2.2 AA at the time of testing, for web, mobile, and document content. This supports your compliance efforts; it is not legal advice and is not a guarantee of compliance with any law or protection from litigation.
Why it's different
Automated coverage, human depth
- Automated tools, then real testingWe start with automated scanning for breadth, then test by hand with the screen readers and keyboard workflows real users depend on — catching what scanners can't.
- Built on QA discipline8+ years of structured software QA applied to accessibility, so findings are reproducible and clearly documented.
- Fixes you can act onIssues come prioritized by severity, mapped to the WCAG success criterion, with concrete remediation guidance for your developers.
- The proof is this pageThis site is built to the same standard we test against — semantic, keyboard-navigable, and screen-reader friendly.
~25%
of WCAG issues are catchable by automated scans alone — so we layer hands-on testing on top.

Questions
Frequently asked
How long does an accessibility audit take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the site or app — a small marketing site is usually a few days, larger applications longer. You'll have a timeline in your written scope before any work starts.
What do I get at the end?
A prioritised report mapping each issue to its WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion, with severity and concrete fix guidance your developers can act on, plus a written walkthrough (a call on request). A verification re-test is included once your team applies the fixes.
Will this make my site ADA compliant?
We assess conformance to WCAG 2.2 AA — the technical standard the ADA and Section 508 reference — at the time of testing. That supports your compliance efforts, but legal compliance is a determination for your counsel; we don't guarantee it and don't provide legal advice.
Is the work remote?
Yes — the practice is fully remote. Manual testing is done on real desktop and mobile devices with the same assistive technology your users rely on.
Do you test mobile apps as well as websites?
Yes — websites, web apps, and native iOS and Android apps, tested on physical devices with VoiceOver and TalkBack, not just emulators.
How does pricing work?
Every engagement is scoped to what you need, so pricing is quoted per project. Tell us about your site or product and we'll send a tailored quote and rate sheet.

Working with us
Straight talk, not a wall of logos
Conforma Access is a young practice, so we won't show you client logos we haven't earned yet. What we will do is tell you plainly what we find, what it means, and how to fix it — and stand behind the testing. As we complete engagements, client feedback will live right here.
